Coral Frog Counselling

Psychotherapy is creative in nature, we are working to expand, to grow and change. Counselling nurtures new ideas, perspectives and knowledge. Creativity is a phenomenon whereby something new and somehow valuable is formed.

About Me

I was born in the Middle East and grew up in rural Devon on a small holding with my family and a menagerie of animals. Our home often hosted friends and family from around the globe.

I’ve worked and travelled in many different countries and experienced various different cultures and ways of living. All of which I believe has given me a wide perspective on life and developed my cultural understanding.

I have had a background in fashion design and international event management which all reolved around working with people and getting the best for them and from them. I think I’ve always been curious about why we behave like we do and what drives us.

Living in London, I initially volunteered for Age Concern and The Samaritans who in turn inspired me to train to be a therapist, bringing a lot of my skill sets together.

I’ve led an unconventional life which I believe has developed courage, creativity and compassion in me. I am adventurous and rarely shy away from the unknown. I am passionate about womens’ rights and empowering others to live their best lives. I believe in living authentically and celebrating difference.

I have a love of colour and pattern and my sense of style and humour is how I express who I am.

I love nature and surround myself with plants and animals.

How I work:
Working Creatively

Psychotherapy is creative in nature, we are working to expand, to grow and change. Counselling nurtures new ideas, perspectives and knowledge. Creativity is a phenomenon whereby something new and somehow valuable is formed.

The truth is, not everyone can express themselves through words.

Visual thinking help us express the unthinkable, the feelings that are difficult to express, unexpected things happen and meanings can be shared.

I work using art therapy, writing therapy and play therapy techniques if I feel they would be helpful. Inner child work is also something that can be immensely healing particularly from childhood trauma
